Cromwell Pizza and Pasta is new to Cromwell, CT. Owner/creator FAbio Lourenconi has been in the food industry for over 23 years, 19 of which were spent at Rowayton Pizza and Pasta in the Fairfield county part of the state. Rowayton pizza has been serving quality Italian food for over forty years, you could say we know a little something about customer satisfaction and making great product. It all began with a dream and some traditional family recipies. Back in 1975 Mathew 'Matt' Criscuolo started Rowayton Pizza after having worked in a pizza restaurant in the Bronx, New York. He and his two brothers, natives of Amalfi, Italy, came to America in the 50's with hopes and dreams. Now forty years later the Criscuolo family is still leading the industry with forward thinking ideas, like certified organics, pesticide free meats, gluten free pizza and pasta, and so much more

Our mission is to continue to be a part of the business and civic community in Cromwell and to propel the business to generate a revenue of at least 10% annually. Our plan is to focus on always having opportunities for employment for people in our community, to support schools and civic and fraternal organizations through fundraiser

Ownership & Structure
FL Pizza LLC is registered as a limited-liability corporation. Our founder, Fabio Lourenconi, is sole owner of the company. No outside investors are involved at this point in time, though there might be an opportunity for that as the business grows

Company History
FL Pizza signed, Fabio Lourenconi, signed the lease for this location in July 2014. We did a total renovation to make the restaurant more accessible for the type of business we are now running. We moved the restroom out of the dining area and into a shorter hallway, installed a music system, security system, new counter tops, and a new patio. All these renovations were done to help the business function as well as it does now and continue to grow.

The Team

The man behind the scenes, the creator of Cromwell Pizza and Pasta. This is a man who had a dream and made it happen with his own hands - the head of the Cromwell Pizza and Pasta family. Fabio Lourenconi established Cromwell Pizza and Pasta in 2014. Although this is not his first restaurant, Cromwell Pizza is his new home. Fabio found Cromwell by chance. His last restaurant was near New York City in Rowayton, CT. He has been in this business almost all his life, having worked every aspect of the food industry from dishwasher, chef, server, manager, to owner of his own restaurant. He is not a man who is afraid to work hard and he knows his stuff. Fabio is a master chef; he nurtures his skills and makes cooking an art. He began learning over 20 years ago in the kitchen of Naples native and dear friend Mathew Crisculo. Though his free time is sparse, Fabio is also a licensed pilot, and enjoys taking rides on his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. Fabio is the boss and friend we all have grown to love and appreciate! Thanks, Fabio! |

Meet Katie, another member of our Cromwell Pizza and Pasta family.
Katie truly enjoys her job as the manager of the restaurant and makes it her personal mission to befriend everyone who walks into the front door, especially because she loves to see customers who come in week after week to their favorite restaurant. Watching customers and employees smile and enjoy themselves at Cromwell Pizza and Pasta brings her satisfaction as she has made this her second home. Originally from Durham and now a resident of Cromwell, Katie attended Coginchaug Regional High School and went on to study at Three Rivers Community College and Gateway Community College. She is very close with her parents and siblings and has a love for all the people in her life. Thank you, Katie! |

Jim is the man that makes all the delicious pizzas here at Cromwell Pizza. But you may not know that Jim is quite the family man. Jim lives close by in Middletown with his family. He is married and the dad of two beautiful children. Jim works a lot of hours and is still dedicated to those he loves! We love having Jim here at Cromwell Pizza and Pasta. |
